Follow up on implants and some new crown work. Implants are healing very well. It has been seven weeks and I feel normal. I am anxious to get the tooth put in but it won't be done until I reach minimum healing time of four months. That will be until August 26 at the earliest. On May 30, I had a broken tooth fixed with a crown. The lab was able to get the permanent made in two days so it is in and feels great. Another crown I had from my doctor stateside was leaking causing decay to get under the crown. Dr. Lina removed it and cleaned the decay which had spread to the neighbouring teeth. If I had not done it and waited it would have been pretty bad. That permanent crown was put in two days later and looks great. Doing two more crowns in July so it's coming along very nicely. I have not used sedation. Just local numbing. The doctors take very good care of me. I feel like part of the family. My crowns were about $400 each. The clinic is a very nice facility, relaxing, people are very helpful and even has WiFi.

So far so good! I went online to check the dentist reviews in the Guanacaste area. Diago had good reviews and lots of them. I contacted two dental clinics with good reviews and Diago got back to me in a timely manner as I had left a message saying I had a toothache that was bothering me. Turned out that it was an abscess which I had suspected. He put me on antibiotics for a couple of days and then did the root canal. I have had a lot of dental work in my life and he did a good job. He was very good at explaining everything to me and went over the x-rays with me. Better yet when I told him I thought I needed my crowns replaced he explained to me why I did not so he is not out to rip you off. He seems to genuinely care for his client's welfare and I think it is very safe to recommend him to others.

Dr. Nava and his staff, Eva, Astrid, Dr. Stephanie are awesomely amazing from start to finish. 5-star treatment, they take you everywhere you need to go to and from the clinic, the store, the airport, I didn’t have to think about anything but my treatment, what an excellent experience! Dr Nava is precise and methodical in every step of your treatment, he explains everything to you and does amazing work. He is truly one of the best dentists on this planet !! They greet us by name, and have specialists they call in for our dental needs if needed. I had all my teeth extracted and one on 6 implants placed for permanent dentures or whatever they are called. My husband has had fillings, root canals, crowns, implants and a bridge.
