I'm from San Francisco California and I travelled to Cartagena Colombia, (Sonrisa Perfecta Dental) for my dental work. I was interested in saving money and vacationing in Colombia at the same time. I had a full mouth reconstruction of 28 zirconia crowns, 2 implants, and a dental bridge. It was an extensive process but done quickly compared to US standards. I flew to Bogota from Texas for dental implants with Dr. Suaza, and it was completely worth it! From the start, Dr. Suaza made me feel secure about my decision to have my surgery with her. She has over 15 years of experience and her aesthetic results are impeccable. She and her team are very organized, professional and caring. I couldn't imagine having done this with anyone else. She and her staff put extreme care into every step of the planning and treatment. The technology her clinic uses is far more advanced than any of the dentists I've been to in the US. She also provides transportation to/from the airport and translators if needed. Even considering the flights, hotel, food, and extras, this trip and surgery cost less than half of what I was quoted in the US for the surgery alone. I highly recommend Dr Cristina Suaza!

Treatment was excellent and very professional. I had 18 teeth removed and 8 implants put in over a three hour time period. There was no bleeding after and the pain level was low. After two days the temporary dentures was fitted. It has been about three weeks now and my gums are healed. The cost is about 1/4 to 1/5 the cost compared to prices in the US. Most people might be worried about the crime and the unknown going to Guatemala but I was met at the airport by the mother of the Alan (dentist). I stayed at her house in the heart of Guatemala City, she is very nice and she spoke great English. His mom drove me to the clinic and Alan drove me back. Of course, I have been there three times and travelled around with no problem.
