I contacted the Bangkok Counselling Service to get help to address some repeating behaviour I want to stop. It's overthinking things to the point where I believe disaster will happen. I met with Mr Don who was very supportive he was interested in my experience and actually listened. I'm not sure anyone has ever done that before. On leaving I noticed the clinic was private yet homely and near to the Skytrain station. I have signed up for 6 more sessions.

Hi, I was treated by Martina in Rathmines every week for about 6 weeks. I found it to be a fantastic experience. I was full of anxieties, self-doubts and frustrations. She was an amazing listener and could unravel all of those issues in a way I never thought possible. We got to the source of them, and I came away from her every week with a much better understanding of myself. I talked about things I hadn't even thought of for years. She was so prepared every week, knowing exactly where to start as if the previous session had only been the day before. She took into consideration the views of family members. She was patient with the children and helped them to engage with the assessment process. She took time to explain the condition and the medication to them. The service was fast, the clinic is clean and quiet, the email appointment reminders were helpful. Audrey is qualified to both diagnose and prescribe the appropriate medication.

My GP suggested that I should get CBT (cognitive behaviour therapy) for my OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). I have to admit that I was skeptical but was willing to try anything. I found OPAL on the What Clinic site through an Internet search. I was put in contact with Ray James and he explained the concept of CBT so well that I felt re-assured. I had eight sessions in total and Ray helped me so much during these. I learnt effective coping strategies and he helped me to confront my OCD. I can now manage this and live life more fully. I have no hesitation in recommending Ray as a first class therapist.
