My name is Lori and I am from Scotland. After a lot of research, I made the decision to book a sleeve gastrectomy with Mr Süleyman Akilli. I would HIGHLY recommend Mr Süleyman and his team at Private Life Hospital - the work and care was exceptional! The care was nothing like I would receive in the UK! I had Mr Süleyman visit me on numerous occasions to make sure everything was ok (although one day I was not compos mentis because of anaesthesia). He is very caring about his patients and I feel his work is first class. The visits alone by my surgeon made me feel valued. It really was 10/10. The language barrier between the nurses wasn't perfect but it was nothing a little google translate couldn’t fix and they had their ways of making me feel at ease and relaxed and comfortable. From small touches to simple smiles, they were all very sweet! My incisions from surgery have been left very neat and my recovery has been great, I am 8 days post op. I have zero pain or discomfort and have been great since day 2 post operation.

I had my surgery 3 weeks ago. Before I left home I was very apprehensive but those feelings soon went. My coordinator was Oguzhan who was superb and always answered my questions immediately. I was met at the airport and was driven in a nice Mercedes taxi van. We arrived at the hospital which was immaculate and had fabulous staff. I had tests in the evening and morning before having my surgery at 10 am. My doctor was a great guy and will see you 3 times in total. When I awakened after the surgery the pain is intense due to the gas the put inside you for the surgery but this soon goes away. The key is walking to alleviate the pain. I am so glad I chose Dr. Volkan and in 3 weeks I have lost 2.5 stone and I am wearing clothes that haven't fitted me in years.

I had bulbous nose and my surgery had in May 2023. Dr Bahitten is very professional I’m really satisfied with the results. The hospital was clean and tidy and the staff was very friendly & helpful. Ideal for solo travellers. The package was responsible too. Please ask for medical documents before leaving the hospital cause on Airport you can be ask for your reports. I highly recommend this Hospital.

I had gastric sleeve surgery on 26 January 2023. I was obese on the BMI scale, however my reason for the surgery was arthritis pain in my knees and fibromyalgia. The whole experience was fantastic from the initial communication through to today. All staff I came into contact with were extremely knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. I am no longer classed as obese nor overweight on the BMI scale and my arthritis and fibromyalgia do not bother me daily anymore. It was, and continues to be, the best decision I have made for myself.

Urology consultation, Gynecology consultation, Internal Medical consultation. Xrays, ultrasound, CT scan, blood tests examinations, reviews of all investigations and medications prescribed. It was all done over 2 days. I have been through a number of investigations, examinations, blood tests etc. and have seen 3 consultants. I was so pleased with their care, attention and also the respect and kindness they showed me. There was one particular member of your staff who helped me enormously. Her name is Seda and she works as your translator and all the other things she does. I have no idea how I would have managed without Seda's care and attention. My head was spinning as I went from one place to another in the hospital. I would have been extremely stressed if I hadn't had Seda's help and support. She took control and made sure I received everything I needed with such expertise and professionalism. I have heard other foreigners living here speak of her with the same admiration. I hope that the management/bosses read and acknowledge what an asset Seda is to your company and give her the recognition she deserves for the great work she does.

Where do I start with new me health? Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. I visited New Me Health to have a gastric sleeve from the UK. Before I visited I was dealing with Dr. Mani who was very reassuring and very informative. 2 of my sisters and my dad had previously been for surgery with the new me and all had fantastic treatment. When I arrived in Turkey our personal driver was waiting to take us to the hospital so no waiting around. Arrived at the hospital and began my pre-op. I have never had so many checks which I found really reassuring they check absolutely everything. The coordinator took you from check to check then once all was good and given the go-ahead I was due to have surgery the next day. The coordinator then advised a restaurant for us to eat at and took us there again a lovely gesture. The nurses and staff were fantastic following surgery supporting you with pain relief checking wounds etc the surgeons and dietitians were coming in and checking at all times talking me through everything. The dietian Irmak was fantastic! Her knowledge and explanation of things made me feel so at ease and gave me a great understanding of how I needed to move forward following surgery. You leave with a huge bag of vitamins and bits and bobs that you need so no need to rush to buy anything. This surgery is a lot different to most in Turkey others that just want your money, the new me health is the total opposite and made me feel like they genuinely cared about me. If you are thinking about the gastric sleeve surgery but are hesitant then I really would recommend New Me Health Clinic, I am now 13 weeks post-op and 4 stone down which is more than I can ever imagine and that was without a Liver reduction diet before. My daughter & I came to have bariatic surgery In June 2022. I had a mini bypass and a band removal & my daughter had a sleeve. I had lasik eye treatment at Febris healthcare which was successful. It was very good value and the result was what I wanted (clear vision). The staff were always supportive and helpful.
