I had been suffering from anxiety and anger issues due to years of swallowing emotions. Martina provided a safe and trusting space that helped me work through this. I felt at ease with her from day one and she was very patient with helping me open up and deal with my issues. It was a lot of work but I am in a much better place now thanks to Martina and the work that we put in. Could not recommend enough to anyone dealing with anything similar or feeling like everything is piling on top of them.

One service I provide as an option alongside the is a brief mental health checkup.  This is not a psychiatric or psychological assessment but a client led, self reflective process. This idea provides a space for the client to reflect on key areas specific to them such as ConcentrationEmotionsMoodEnergySleepWork/Life balanceRelationshipsTension/AnxietyBy reflecting on some of these topics with the respectful guidance of the therapist the client can arrive at an assessment on how they are doing and whether they may need assistance on any specific area(s). Dr Oppenheim is a miracle worker. She has totally transformed my daughter. CAMHS had let my daughter down 4 times saying her anxiety was not a mental health problem despite her severely self-harming and not sleeping for more than 3 hrs a day since she was born!!!! She listened, empathised and treated my daughter within 2 visits. My daughter is transformed. I cannot thank her enough.

My GP suggested that I should get CBT (cognitive behaviour therapy) for my OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). I have to admit that I was skeptical but was willing to try anything. I found OPAL on the What Clinic site through an Internet search. I was put in contact with Ray James and he explained the concept of CBT so well that I felt re-assured. I had eight sessions in total and Ray helped me so much during these. I learnt effective coping strategies and he helped me to confront my OCD. I can now manage this and live life more fully. I have no hesitation in recommending Ray as a first class therapist.
