He is qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2001 with a Master’s Degree from Glasgow Caledonian University and has over ten years experience in the treatment and management of musculoskeletal problems. Prior to completing his physiotherapy training he obtained a Honours degree in Physiology from the University of Dundee. He is the lead NHS Physiotherapist at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary A and E Department’s Soft Tissue Clinic and delivers evidence-based, hands-on treatment and individualised rehabilitation programmes. He is a founder member and lecturer for Glasgow Physio SeminarsTM providing postgraduate training to other physiotherapists throughout the United Kingdom. He has a keen interest in field hockey, competing in the Scottish National League and is the lead physiotherapist for Hillhead Hockey club. He is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and is registered with the Health Professions Council.
