My Sports Clinic was launched in 2006 by Australian Physiotherapist Damon Voss. My Sports Clinic has been providing a range of services for over 10 years. Like Minded staff are recruited with experience in elite sport and musculoskeletal physiotherapy to provide high quality physiotherapy the ‘My Sports Way’. We believe it is a better way for you to get back to your physical best. Our highly trained staff are registered with the HPC, CSP and ACPPP. We currently work with a number of high profile companies AXA Health, BUPA, Nuffield Health, IPRS Health, Aviva, Vitality, Speed Medical, Medicotherapy, Bodycare clinics and many more. My Sports Clinic is based within David LLoyd Leisure, Doxford International Business Park, Sunderland. The clinic is just off the A19 which gives easy access to patients travelling from the surrounding boroughs, and free parking is available within the club grounds. We have access to superb gym facilities to help aid patient’s rehabilitation, and our aim is to book new patients an appointment within 24 hours. Joanne was amazing, great consultation, I had some treatment there and then and given follow up exercises to do at home. Looking forward to my next appointment.

Health Kinesiology (HK) is a specific branch of kinesiology developed in the 1970’s, which uses muscle testing/monitoring combined with verbal questioning as a means of communicating with a person’s energy system and determining what the body needs in order to restore balance and wellbeing. A wide range of different procedures are available and muscle testing is used to identify the priority order so as to ensure a smooth healing process. Commonly used procedures include the use of magnets, crystals, flower essences, essential oils or the client may be asked to focus on specific thoughts or phrases to help alleviate limiting beliefs/fearful thought patterns. I have just had a session with Krishna who provided very effective treatment which increased mobility and reduced pain. As previously, she also gave excellent lifestyle guidance on how to avoid future recurrence and exercises to maintain the positive results.
