About The Physiotherapy, Sports and Spinal Clinic

Three clinics one in Olney, Ampthill and the other in Letchworth are run by this physiotherapy group. A range of high quality physiotherapy care and other holistic services are provided at all the clinics. Services provided at the clinics include physiotherapy treatments for a range of painful conditions and sports injuries, osteopathy, chiropody, podiatry, Pilates, acupuncture, cranial osteopathy, relaxing massage, sports massage, lymphatic drainage, yoga and homeopathy. The clinics have an in house fitness studio for helping patients using Pilates and Yoga.

Nick Watts

Biography:
Nick Watts, qualified in 2002, from The University of East Anglia. He works both in the NHS and private sectors, specialising in musco-skeletal problems and acupuncture. His interests lie in back and shoulder pain, injury rehabilitation, general joint and muscle pain, aided by his training and interest in acupuncture.

Alistair Shaw

Biography:
Alistair Shaw, qualified from The University of Hertfordshire in 2001. He has worked within the NHS for six years and three years in the private sector. His special interests lie in musco-skeletal conditions, both spinal and peripheral, sports related injuries and acupuncture.

Hannah Barbour

Biography:
Hannah Barbour, qualified from St George’s Hospital Medical School in 2002 as a chartered physiotherapist. She has worked both in the NHS and private sector, with particular experience in musculo-skeletal outpatients, paediatrics, and amputee rehabilitation. Hannah has a special interest in back and neck pain and sports related injuries. Her treatment specialities include acupuncture, manual therapy and soft tissue and myofascial release.

Nicola Carter

Biography:
Nicola Carter qualified in 1995 from Leeds university, and has worked both in the NHS and private sectors, she has been involved in providing physiotherapy at the London Marathon, Bedford Blues and Dewsbury Rugby Clubs. Though Nicola treats all musclo-skeletal problems, she has a particular interest in myofascial and trigger point acupuncture, lower limb rehabilitation, including ACL reconstruction.
