Wendy qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Osteopathy from the London School of Osteopathy in 2003. She is also a fully qualified Dry Needling Practitioner since receiving her Diploma in 2004.

She was one of the founding partners of the Blackwater Osteopathic Clinic which later became the very successful Blackwater Clinic, one of the first multi-disciplinary clinics in Essex. She is now the proud owner of Phoenix Place for Health.

Wendy is a Rocktape certified professional (RockDoc) having completed full training in the application of kinesiology tape.

Robin qualified with a BSc (Hons) Osteopathy from the London School of Osteopathy in 2004. During that time he has worked in different parts of Essex at multi-disciplinary clinics and worked in Athens, Greece for 18 months.

Robin is a Rocktape certified professional (RockDoc) having completed full training in the application of kinesiology tape.

Maria is a fully qualified acupuncturist graduating from the London College of Traditional Acupuncture (LCTA) in 2003. After graduating with a Bsc(Hons), Maria worked for a short time in the Hangzhou Hospital, China.

She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and the Acupuncture Fertility Network (AFN). Maria sees many people with a wide variety of conditions and specialises in gynaecological disorders including infertility, pregnancy and pre-birth acupuncture plus advising on acupressure in labour

Christine qualified for a Diploma in Deep Tissue Swedish Massage in 2001 followed, in 2003, by a BTEC Diploma in Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy from the London School of Sports Massage. She also gained a Diploma in Dry Needling from the School of Biomechanics and Sport & Remedial Therapies.

Natalie graduated from Essentials for Health with a Diploma in Swedish/Holistic Body Massage in July 2011 and immediately went on to achieve a Level 5 Sport & Remedial Massage & Treatments Diploma in April 2012.

This was quickly followed by a Pregnancy Massage Diploma and in April 2013 achieved a Level 3 qualification in Integrated Myofascial Release Therapy. She is also a RockTape certified professional (RockDoc) having completed full training in the application of kinesiology tape to help with symptom reduction, edema control, muscle fatigue delay, injury support and muscle stimulation

Nick qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatric Medicine from the UEL. His studies gave him the opportunity to participate in NHS clinical placements at Primary Care Trusts based across London and Essex, including the High-Risk Diabetic Clinic at King’s College Hospital, London.

Whilst Nick enjoys providing routine foot care, he is keen to bring his areas of special interest, comprising nail surgery and biomechanics, to Phoenix Place for Health

Tricia became interested in the Alexander Technique many years ago and took lessons to see if it could help improve her balance. It did. It also helped her relax and maintain a good posture during pregnancy and labour.

Then life as a working mum got in the way of learning more until she took the chance of redundancy from her work in IT to undertake the three year full time training course and qualify as a professional teaching member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique.

Angela completed a Foundation Science Degree and Nutritional Therapy Diploma at the acclaimed Institute for Optimum Nutrition at the University of Bedfordshire, achieving distinction and gaining the special award for Clinical Excellence.

She is interested in all aspects of Nutritional Therapy and is, with clinical experience and ongoing training, specialising in womens’ and childrens’ health.

Having trained at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition Angela has met the stringent requirements of the Nutritional Therapy Council (NTC) the professional standards council for Nutritional Therapy.

Angela is also registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and as a member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapy and Applied Nutrition (BANT) is bound by a strict code of ethics in clinical practice.

Jeannie has over 20 years nursing experience and came into the non-surgical cosmetics business initially as a client about 10 years ago. It was through this introduction to the treatments available that she decided to train in the administration of wrinkle relaxing injections and dermal fillers. She could see first hand the effects that, if carried out well, these procedures could achieve.

Since her early training Jeannie has gone on and reached an advanced level and is able to offer up to the minute treatment. She has worked in Suffolk, Essex, Cambridge and London.

Jeannie feels that she can offer a personalised and relaxed service offering honest and achievable outcomes to clients. Jeannie believes that non-surgical treatments administered to the highest standard in the right environment allow clients to feel confident without the need for surgery.

Rachel brings a wealth of knowledge and experience within the aesthetic and beauty industry to Phoenix Place for Health. After qualifying she worked abroad running a large spa complex where she gained a wealth of experience. For 5 years after returning to the UK, Rachel managed a large Suffolk based laser clinic where her main area of expertise was that of laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation.

After the birth of her daughter, Rachel decided that she would like to be able to bring her personalised treatment style back to Essex, her home county. She has now been at Rochester House for 3 years and in that time has built up a strong client base and has gained additional qualifications and skill base in skin structure and treatment. These include micro-needling, chemical peels and prescriptive skin products. Rachel is more than happy to provide a free consultation service by appointment

Dr Roy Melamed graduated in Medicine from the Ludwigs-Maximilians University in Munich, Germany and came to the UK in 1990.

After working for 8 years in General Medicine in various UK Hospitals (the last three years as Medical Registrar in Harlow Hospital and Broomfield) he changed to General Practice and built up his own NHS surgery for 16 years. He then decided to switch to private practice to provide the best possible service to his patients without the constraints and cuts within the NHS.

As well as being an experienced GP, Roy has special interests in chest medicine, Operative Dermatology and is skilled in administering joint injections and injections for Migraines. He has considerable experience in Facial Aesthetics and Non-surgical face-lifts.

Outside of his busy work life, Roy enjoys an equally busy family life with his wife and four daughters.
