Miss Prit Sidhu

BSc (Hons) M.Ost Prit first encountered Osteopathy during her many years of competing internationally for the UKITF National Taekwondo Team, and with a background in Sport and Exercise Science she decided to pursue it as a career. Since qualifying from the prestigious British School of Osteopathy with a Masters in Osteopathy, she continued to follow her passion for sports by working with many top level professional UK athletes. With her background in martial arts, Prit is aware of the demands placed on the body not only whilst in training, but also when training ceases and old injuries remerge. Passionate about helping patients’ get their bodies back to optimal health, she uses a variety of techniques within treatment to achieve this. Prit has had a wealth of experience working with a wide range of patients including expectant mothers, geriatrics, athletes and those with acute and chronic conditions, and also enjoys treating a wide range of problems from lower back and neck pain, to shoulder, knee and hip problems. More recently, Prit has been working closely with Team GB and their team ofathletes coached by Linford Christie in the lead up to Rio! Athletes include James Ellington (200m), Nigel Levine (400m), Dannish Walker-Khan 200m, David Lima 200m, and Margaret Adeoye (200m). Also a keen sportswoman, Prit is a V Dan and International Competitor in Taekwondo, most recently achieving a Silver Medal at the World Championships in Rome 2014
