I feel very good with Dr. Yogesh

Orthopaedist Consultation

As said, we are happy with Doctor Yogesh. And we are happy with the nurses who really did everything possible to help me recover after the operation.
But the hospital itself was not really fantastic: The common parts of the Hospital (x-ray, ct, laboratory, etc etc.) look shabby, dirty, not well kept. Hygenic is not a common word over there (for xray they ask you to wear one of three trousers they provide the patients - not each but for at least the whole day, maybe weeks? The doctor is wearing new gloves, yes, to insert someting intoo your wound, goes to the computer, types - with the same gloves - on his computer, comes back and goes on dealing with your open wound ...)
The operation theatres are better, but again not well maintained, you will find moderner and cleaner ones in Bangalore.
The private rooms are old and basic but clean, far better than the other parts. I did not see the cantina, but the food is good and the offered service is very good.

The really bad thing is the PR-departement. They do not have any educated staff to deal with any insurance they do not have special contracts with. Our insurance contacted them after they where not able to contact the insurance by themselves. The insurance told them, the money would be transferred after sending the diagnosis showing that the operation was necessary and the bank details and the bill for operation and stay in hospital.
The guy sent the diagnosis, yes, including even MRI report and CT. And than waited. "THey did not phone" he said "they did not sent the money" he said. We asked: "Did you phone them after they did not phone you?" "No".
"Did you send the bill, did you send the bank data?" "No".
"So how can they know, how much money they should sent to where?"
"But they did not phone."
So we explained him: "Phone them now". He did so and they said, there was no problem with payment but missing bill and bank data.
So we explained him: "Sent them a bill and bank data"
And yes, we waited next to him as long as he did it - but we did not realize that he managed to send them a wrong bill ...

So, if you want to pay by cash, they are ok, offering a good service for not to much money. If you are expecting five stars, you have to find an other place to go to.

treatment (some kind of infection at the spine) by Dr. Yogehs was good - the operation to remove it, was only a week before, so the outcome is not clear at the moment, but I feel very good with Dr. Yogesh.
