From my first encounter with the doctor and his team at this clinic, I felt most reassuredRosana, UK, 05 02 23

The best decision ever! My eye treatment at Centre for Sight has changed my life and enhanced my confidence. Having trifocal lenses implanted by Mr Sheraz Daya has restored my eyesight and I no longer need to use any lenses for reading, driving or any other activities. From my first encounter with Mr Daya and his team at Centre for Sight, I felt most reassured that I was getting a very professional opinion and treatment. The day of the procedure was made much easier by the comforting support provided to me by Dr Espinosa whilst Mr Daya was performing my eye surgery. Overall, a fantastic experience and a great result.

LASIK from £1795
At Optegra we use the most advanced equipment for Laser Eye Surgery. All laser treatments involve the use of a laser to change the shape of your cornea and alter your eye’s focusing power. Making the procedure safer and more accurate with better results, and completely blade free for a faster recovery. LASIK (laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis) is the most common laser treatment performed worldwide and is usually a two-stage procedure. It takes around 10 minutes to treat each eye. Once your eye has been anaesthetised, a femtosecond laser is used to create an extremely thin flap on your cornea (1). By using a laser instead of a blade, the flap can be created with greater precision and with minimal pain. The tissue under the flap is then reshaped using an excimer laser (2) before the flap is carefully placed back again (3).Every individual is different. You will need to have a consultation with one of our consultant surgeons who will conduct an in-depth assessment to determine your suitability and tailor an individual solution to you.LASIK is usually suitable for people with:Myopia (short-sightedness) Hyperopia (long-sightedness) Astigmatism (irregular- shaped cornea) £1,795 per eye

LASEK (laser-assisted epithelial keratomileusis) is a surface treatment that avoids the need to create a corneal flap. The total treatment takes around 10 minutes per eye. It works by softening the thin upper layer of the cornea (1), called the epithelium, before moving it aside (3). An excimer laser (4) is then applied to the exposed tissue before the thin layer is put back in its original position (5). A special contact lens is then applied to protect the epithelium while it heals (6). Every individual is different. You will need to have a consultation with one of our consultant surgeons who will conduct an in-depth assessment to determine your suitability and tailor an individual solution to you. Epi-LASIK
Epi-Lasik is a treatment plan that has been offered at Accuvision for over 10 years. The highly advanced laser technology used at Accuvision allows the surgery team to carefully remove the epithelium layer using the laser. The laser is then used a second time to correct the prescription. Both treatments take a matter of a few seconds. Once the procedure is completed a bandage contact lens is placed over the eye to protect it while the epithelium grows back rapidly over the smooth surface of the cornea. Armed forces personnel and those patients involved in contact sports are treated with this procedure in addition to those patients with thinner than normal corneas.
