Dental Implants All implant requirements, whether it is for a single tooth replacement or multiple tooth replacement
Single Implant Single tooth removal and implant placement (performed in one consultation, dependent of x-ray consultation). Cost is dependent on if tooth is to be removed.
Dentist Consultation Initial consultation with Dr Ferguson, with x-ray.
Extractions Single tooth and multiple tooth removals are routinely perfomed. Costs are dependent on how many teeth are being removed and the type of extractions requirede, (ie: standard extraction or surgical extraction).
Surgical Extractions Appointment for surgical extraction of a tooth. Procedure routinely performed, and cost is dependent on consultation with x-ray, but approximate cost for one surgical extraction
Wisdom Tooth Extraction Surgical extraction of wisdom teeth are procedures that can be done either under local anesthetic if the rooms or general anaesthetic as an inpatient as a day stay procedure in a private hospital. Costs are dependent on the types of extractions required and how many teeth are to be removed.
Implant Dentist Consultation Consultation for implant treatment. Consultation is with an x-ray with quotes given at the consultation for your treatment costs, unless further x-rays are required.
Dr John Ferguson
Job Title: Dentist Biography: MDS, PhD, FDSRCS (Eng), FFDRCS (Irel), Cert Bioethics Dr John Ferguson is a specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has previously held senior University and hospital positions in Melbourne and elsewhere. Dr Ferguson has extensive experience in dental implant placement and associated surgical procedures, using a number of different implant systems, and has a particular interest in bone graft reconstruction of the ridges for implant placement. Dr Ferguson is a member of the Australian Dental Association, and The Australian and New Zealand Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr Boris Cherkasski
Job Title: Dentist Biography: DDM, BDS (Otago), GradDipClinDent, MDS (Melb) Following completion of his Masters degree at Melbourne University, Dr Cherkasski has been in specialist practice restricted to prosthodontics, and continues to teach on a part-time basis at the University of Melbourne. He has broad knowledge and substantial practical experience in dental implantology and other aspects of restorative dentistry. The area of his particular interest lies in use of implants for immediate tooth replacement. Dr Cherkasski lectures nationally and internationally on dental implant-related issues. He is a member of the Australian Dental Association, a full member of the Academy of Australian and New Zealand Prosthodontists and is an executive member of the Australasian Osseointegration Society (Victorian branch).
