The whole process was excellentMary, UK, 01 10 22

I have had severe hip pain, with restricted movement in my neck since lockdown. I had extensive consultation and to follow a treatment which included acupuncture. The whole process was excellent. I felt extremely relaxed and safe with how my treatment and feedback was undertaken. I have already booked three more sessions and even now 24 hours, after my first visit, I’m feeling so much better and a lot more flexible in the areas mentioned above. Highly recommend this clinic and the practitioner. Very good value for money and the visit was undertaken in a private room and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I didn’t know of this clinic before I enquired but ‘what clinic.com’ gave it a good recommendation. Within 30 minutes of logging onto ‘what clinic’ with my enquiry the practitioner rang me and I had booked an appointment for the following day. I am very impressed with ‘what clinic.com’ and also my treatment at this clinic. I have a series of recommended exercises to undertake until my next appointment next week.

Cranio Sacral treatments are profoundly relaxing, and where a person is under stress, it can be of great benefit. Treatment appears to affect the areas of the brain that react to stress. As these areas respond to treatment the muscles relax, blood pressure and heart rate lower and pain decreases.

I’m frequently asked the question “What is the difference between an Osteopath and a Chiropractor?”.I some times wonder “What is the difference between two Osteopaths?”.Both Osteopathy and Chiropractic came into being in the USA in the 1880's.Both Chiropractic and Osteopathy use Spinal Manipulation. Both Professions have developed more subtle forms of treatment such as Applied Kinesiology (Chiro.), Cranio-Sacral Osteopathy and Visceral Manipulation (Osteo.).Currently, in the USA, Osteopaths are considered the same as Medical Doctors. They are very different to British Osteopaths, who still work in the traditional way, i.e. Hands on.Chiropractors in the USA work the same way as they do in the UK.Osteopaths train at one of 3 full time schools in and around London, doing a 4 year degree.Chiropractors train at the Anglo European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth, doing a 5 year Degree. Both professions have overseas graduates working in the UK.Differences between these two Professions can be difficult to identify.I know members of both professions who see patients very frequently, having them pay large sums of money up front.I also know Chiropractors and Osteopaths who are very genuine, honest and caring people. Very knowledgeable and skilled in their professions.Interestingly, as I attend Courses, I find it pleasing to find I’m sharing my time with Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Osteopaths and many other people in my line of work.Personally, if I were in Pain, and needed treatment, I would look for the best recommendation by “Word of Mouth” and not be too concerned whether they were a Chiropractor or an Osteopath.

CST - Craniosacral Therapy £35 - £55
CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle hands-on therapy suitable for treating any age, from newborn babies to the elderly. The therapist palpates the very subtle rhythms created by the ebb and flow of the cerebral spinal fluid and uses this motion to locate sites of tension and holding patterns within the body. Holding patterns can be located within any of the body’s systems of circulation, respiration, the nervous system, the musculoskeletal system, or within any of the organs. They can be the result of physical or emotional impact, stress, disease or trauma. CranioSacral therapy treats the whole person and by working with the body’s innate ability to heal itself these patterns of tension can be encouraged to release, allowing health and wellbeing to re-emerge.
Hypnotherapy £50
Hypnosis is the natural state of mind that is experienced by each of us several times each day. It is a trance like state that is both relaxing and safe. You remain completely aware of everything going on around you and cannot be made to do anything that you would not want to do. Hypnotherapy helps to release more of your natural potential. This is achieved by re-programming any negative thoughts, debilitating beliefs and/or behaviours, and thus eliminating their actions which can cause us to lead less-rewarding and stressful lives.
Reflexology from £38
Reflexology is a holistic therapy based on the belief that there are points on the feet – reflexes – that correspond to organs and systems within the body. By stimulating these reflexes with light pressure the aim of the reflexologist is to restore balance by activating the body’s own self healing processes. Having a reflexology treatment is a deeply relaxing and soothing experience, calming the nervous system and increasing circulation and lymphatic flow.

I have recommended others to him with similar resultsCarl, UK, 30 04 23

I went to Liam as a recommendation from my wife with a back problem I’d had for years and just lived with until my wife booked me in. I was sceptical as I am with all medical professionals but he diagnosed treated and rectified my problem after about 5 sessions and gave me exercises to do which I still do to this day and can honestly say I rarely notice any issues with my back unless I do a heck of a lot of exercises (hours worth in one day) and have no discomfort day to day anymore. I have recommended others to him with similar results.
