This clinic is an efficient and thorough method of adult ADHD assessment, that uses a battery of recognised psychometric tests to assess symptoms of ADHD in both childhood and adulthood. They also use a range of tests that will rule out other disorders that can mimic the symptoms of ADHD, as well as look for other comorbid disorders that often co-occur with it. It works by having an initial in-depth screening in person after filling out a range of other tests at home, both by yourself and another person who knows you well. If it is decided that ADHD is suspected, you will be referred to a psychiatrist, who will confirm your diagnosis and initiate a treatment that is suitable for you. The psychiatrist will work with you throughout this process and Bergin will provide coaching on ways to improve symptoms as well as practical information on your diagnosis.
