Our History

Centro Dermatologico Giovanni Bojanini takes its name after its founder and current medical director. Dr. Bojanini is a Colombian dermatologist who, like many men and women, was victim of hair loss early in his life. With his knowledge in the field of dermatology, he took several different compounds which he knew caused hair growth as a side-effect and started combining and experimenting with them until he came up with his renowned hair-restoration formulas, lotions and shampoos which have changed the face of hair restoration treatments worldwide.

Also known as scalp mesotherapy, this quick, in-office procedure requires no prior preparation or aftercare. There is absolutely no down-time and patients can return to their normal routine as soon as they leave the office.

The treatment consists of a series of microinjections with tiny needles with the objective of infiltrating the dermis (deep layer of skin) with the nutrients and/or medications required to stop and reverse your particular hair loss pattern.

Mesotherapy treatments are most effective when part of a full topical treatment course like the one we offer in our office.

Dr. Ernesto Gutiérrez received his medical degree from Anáhuac Universitys Faculty of Medicine which is the most prestigious private medical school in México. Afterwards he achieved a Post-Graduate Degree as Master of Aesthetic and Antiaging Medicine. Furthermore, he completed additional training in Advanced Facial Rejuvenation at Miami Plastic Surgery under renowned cosmetic plastic surgeon, Dr. Brad Herman.
