He completed his specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the ABC Medical Center, later to make postgraduate studies at The Howard and Georgeanna Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine in the city of Norfolk, VA, USA.

In 2005 he returned to Mexico and held various positions in both the public and private means. At the National Institute of Perinatology he served as head of the Department of Assisted Reproduction and was deputy director of Reproductive Medicine from 2007 to 2009. He currently teaches specialized courses in Biology of Reproduction at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and forms part of the Research Committee at the same institution.

He studied medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, UNAM. Later he graduated as an obstetrician-gynecologist at the National Institute of Perinatology and specialty finishing his graduate degrees in Biology of Human Reproduction and assisted reproduction in the same Institute. Along with this training, made a Master of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences at UNAM.

In recent years, he has taught academic activities at UNAM and the Secretariat of National Defense.

From the beginning of his training, he has conducted research in various institutions and projects both basic and clinical research, which has resulted in the publication of scientific articles and participation in related specialty conferences, obtaining awards for the papers presented.

Belonging to different societies and associations related to their specialty and is certified by the National Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Biology in Mexico.
