Harriet is currently the training and development manager of Bodywhys, The Eating Disorders Association of Ireland, and has a very small private practice in Lumina Psychotherapy Clinic, Dun Laoghaire. Harriet works with adults mostly, and frequently with people who have an eating disorder. This is a particular area of interest and experience for Harriet, although she also has experience working with people experiencing anxiety, OCD, self-harm, relationship difficulties, and personal crises. Feel free to make contact to have a chat, and arrange an initial meeting. Therapy is a very individual experience, and it is important to meet first to see if Harriet is a 'good fit' for you and the issue you struggling with. Sometimes people attend for a short period of time, sometimes for longer. All of this can be discussed at the initial meeting. Education & Experience: Having completed an MA in Addiction Studies, Harriet went on to gain an MSc. in psychoanalytic psychotherapy with St. Vincent's Hospital School of Psychotherapy, Dublin. I have experience working with many mental health issues, and particular experience working with people with eating disroders, and addiction. If you would like to meet with me for a consultation, to talk through your issue, and to have an opportunity for you to consider the way I work and whether you think it will be suitable for you, then see my contact details. Consultations last 50 minutes, as do all sessions. If you choose to continue working with me we will discuss fees and commitment at this consultation.

I provide a safe, confidential space in which to explore the issues you are going through, and work towards finding a solution and a new way of understanding yourself and living your life. I work at the clients pace and trust that through talking and listening new ways of managing problems and new ways of understanding why we do what we do can be found.
Psychotherapist Consultation  
A consultation is an opportunity for you to meet me, and see if you think that the way I work will suit your needs. I offer a consultation that is a once off apointment that has no obligation or pressure to continue. It is an opportunity for you to make a decision about what you feel is best for you to do. Psychotherapy and counselling is a very individual process, everyone is different, and this consultation is an opportunity for you to see if you would like to enter into a longer term commitment to attend psychotherapy with me. I contacted Marcello in March 2018 because I was dealing with a strong fear of flying and I was avoiding to take aeroplanes for 1 year (during which I worked with other professionals with no success). Four months after I started to fly again, and I took 5 flights before the end of the year. We worked a lot on the connections between fear and my life so that I learned a lot about how to manage myself in many difficult situations. I believe that Marcello has great talent as a psychotherapist. I liked a lot the fact that his approach is oriented to achieving practical results and changing everyday life for the better. I go to Iwona to get a full body massage. I have a problem with my neck and shoulder. So I decided I would get reflexology this time from her. She explains the treatment in relation to reflexology, but also works in a holistic way to provide an enjoyable /relaxing /healing experience. She is very passionate about what she can offer her clients. I wasn't sleeping great and I had a great sleep after my treatment. I am looking forward to my next treatment. I have no hesitation in recommending Iwona to others who are open to find ways of helping improve their health and wellbeing.
