I had the pure pleasure of receiving two distance IET (healing with Angels) healings with Carla. These experiences really enable you to step back from the stresses and confusions of life that we all feel, and even more profoundly so, now. I found myself experiencing a lovely sense of peace and a feeling of being nurtured and cared for. It’s a time when you can give yourself permission to be calm and take time out to feed your soul and inner spirit. Carla is a wonderful and loving human being who cares deeply for her clients. She is a very devoted and conscientious therapist. I have also received Reflexology, Hot stone massage and Reiki from Carla. Pure heaven! And what a relief for tired and sore body and muscles. I always treat myself to one of her beautiful hand-made products, created with all-natural products and essential oils; body scrubs, balms, sleep potions, etc. Just bliss! The case history taking lasts for approximately an hour and a half as I aim to get a comprehensive view of the problem the person comes to me with. Having a background in naturopathy as well as herbal medicine, I am very interested in  an individual's nutritional requirements being adequately met. As a naturopath,  I am  concerned about  the whole picture of health and getting to the root of a particular imbalance.I hope to leave no stone unturned in my efforts to do so.Diet and lifestyle are often casualties of our ongoing engagement with a very busy world. Both will be assessed  and certain modifications  where possible will be recommended. Rome wasn't built in a day and this may take time ,but it equally took time to develop a  lack of equilibrium in the body and even in the  mind ."Festina lente"(Hasten slowly) is the latin motto.I may also as part of a long term treatment plan   recommend   food supplements in addition to dietary changes to enhance and speed up overall healing. Weve come to expect that our bodies will flag the changes  at menopause through night sweats, hot flushes, low libido, vaginal dryness etc. In fact ,the only thing we should notice is the absence of periods!The change could be as simple as that but we arent all so lucky.However with the right alterations to our diet and lifestyle  we can be that model of seamless transition.Its up to us.

Dr. Ines Rodriguez was lovely. I was visiting Dublin from the US and became ill. Dr. Rodriguez was knowledgeable, diligent, and compassionate. She followed up the following day and on receipt of my test results. This was better service than I receive from my own GP at home.

From 1997 to 1999, in one of the first studies in the US to explore the effectiveness of acupuncture in alleviating hot flashes, insomnia and nervousness, it was found that during the course of acupuncture treatments, hot flashes decreased by 35% and insomnia decreased by 50%. A follow-up study revealed hot flashes significantly decreased in those receiving acupuncture, compared to those receiving routine care.
