First visit a podiatrist, as l have been experiencing considerable pain from corns. It was far from the unpleasant experience l anticipated. What an excellent service - from the lovely Louise the Receptionist (who put me completely at ease on my first and follow up visits) and the lovely Nikki the osteopath who works wonders and put me completely at ease throughout. I am not confident in these sorts of situations usually but I have now changed my perception of myself and now I feel so much better for taking the plunge! On the whole an excellent experience.
