I met with Novusklinik for a cleaning and a polishing and she was SUCH A pleasure to work with. She made me feel right at home with her conversation and gentleness. I was a bit anxious going into it since I haven't had my teeth touched in a while but she did an amazing job! Extractions, Dental Implants, Bone Grafts, Gingivitis treatment Dental Crowns This a long overdue deliberate delayed review as I wanted to give an honest opinion on the service as well as the treatment I received. The first visit was in December 2021, 2nd Visit December 2022. Firstly I would like to say a big thank you to the coordinator Omid who I found to be passionate, professional, dedicated, and a wonderful personality to boot, who made both of my trips immensely easier. Secondly, I would like to offer my whole hearted appreciation to Dr. Onur Ademhan and Dr. Fuat Biter. For most people who look online for medical tourism in Turkey in my case dental, there is a myriad of choices and often it can be daunting on which is the correct choice for the individual. The reason I personally settled on Perla (I had contacted 7 in total) was mainly due to the issues I had with my teeth and my oral hygiene over the years. I generally do not believe some of the reviews as I may be incorrect but most are just happy once they have an aesthetically pleasing smile. For myself, it was to fix my root cause of broken teeth, gaps, bone loss, and Gingivitis. So hence the oral surgeon was the most important aspect for me. After some extensive research coming across what clinic as well as other review sites I came across Perla and found the blogs online by Dr. Onur Ademhan. As per the standard approach, contact was done via WhatsApp. Omid was brilliant in the initial conversation and everything after this event. Once the booking of the flight was done. Omid organized the hotel, Transfers etc, and the timings of treatment on the required days. December 2021 Stage 1. Dr Onur Ademhan. Extraction of 9 teeth, 9 implants 4 upper and 5 lower. 4 bone grafts and Gingivitis treatment. This was after 3D X-ray and consultation. I shall be blunt here and I was dreading this part. But to be 100% honest I can say that the fear of the pain was worse than the pain itself. During the process. I did not feel a thing. In fact, after the first day of extensive work after 1-hour process was complete I was walking around Antalya with a mask on. It was uncomfortable for next few days. So I ate soup mainly. I had some swelling on the face. They prescribe mouth wash, antibiotics and pain killers which did the trick. In fact after 2 days I virtually stopped taking the pain killers. Stage 2 and Stage 3. Dr Fuat Biter. Shave down the remaining teeth and after 4 days of healing time. I upgraded to a higher quality temporary dentures. As I knew I would need at least 6 months to allow for the implants to heal due to the bone graft. I paid extra for porcelain dentures. Crowns etc. Which was a wise decision as they last me 12 months without issues. As I had to wait due to family reasons 12 months instead of 6. Also, Dr. Fuat Biter stayed late to make sure my temp teeth were done correctly and this I was so grateful for. Important fact. For the last 10 years I had issues with infections etc after the above treatment I had zero issues with this. I was able to eat normally after 2 weeks. Plus the temporary teeth looked good and were comfortable. December 2022 Stage 1: . Dr Onur Ademhan and another colleague who I forgot the name. X ray was done and great news all 9 implants had fused to the bone without failure. The other oral surgeon then took over and placed the healing caps. Stage 2: On said same day met Dr Fuat Biter. Who shaved the remaining teeth more. Did a 3D scan for new crowns. Placed my old temporary back so could eat. Chose natural smile and BL3 shade. As wanted to look like normal teeth shade not super white and false. Stage 3. Testing/Fitting over 2 days. Which god bless Dr Fuat Biter, he spent considerable time in my sessions with him. Testing checking to send the crowns bridges back to the lab for modifications. He was extremely vigilant considerate professional caring. I really appreciated his approach as not rushed and was very detailed tooth to tooth. Due to the trust I had in him I left some key decisions to him as he is the expert and I glad I did. As the ones I had in my mind, he did it without me telling him. Even though he did ask me what I wanted to change etc. Final Thoughts: Apologies this is a long review. But I wanted to be honest as I can be as a paying customer going to Turkey for Dental work. Hence I waited until fully complete. I have no issues at all. From a personal point of view, I recommend Perla if you decide to use them as I got the service, care, and quality I expected and received.

Due to an additional member of my family attending at the last minute, we couldn’t stay at the planned hotel but Honor was a saint and sorted it all out for us and we were placed at a lovely hotel. As promised a taxi was awaiting our arrival and took us straight to A-dent where I was greeted by Honor himself and a lovely team. Honor talked me through every stage and then guided me as we proceeded with the scans. I met my surgeon who firstly looked at the scans then asked to take a look at my mouth. It was all very professional and very courteous. The surgeon was very honest and said that it was a lot of work but I could have the procedure, so I was booked in at 5pm the next day for surgery. On the 02.03.24 at 3 pm we were picked up by the transfer taxi and taken to the clinic where a further scan was taken and then Honor talked me through the whole process, and what type of plate was recommended due to my bone loss. After this, we were taken to the staff room where were given food to eat and we all sat and had a very relaxed time. 5pm I was greeted by my surgeon and sat in the chair. I was given time to say my goodbyes to my children and then it was all go. All the equipment needed was sterile and taken out of sealed packets, and when ready the surgeon made a start. First he applied an anaesthetic spray to numb the gum, and that worked in seconds, then after a minute or so I was injected loads to ensure I would not feel a thing. My surgeon was quick working with this and I was numb from the bridge of my nose to the top of my mouth. 3 teeth taken out, 2 sinus lifts, 6 implants later and all stitched up the first half was complete. That was the hard part done. We had a short break, and then round 2, the lower jaw. This was easier as I had 10 teeth on the bottom, but I was still injected loads to make sure that I had no pain, then 10 teeth taken out, 6 implants placed and stitched up I was finished. It was a lot of work, but I honestly didn’t feel a thing other than a lot of jaw ache but this is due to having my mouth open for 3 hours and also the pressure that is applied when they make the placements for the implants. My surgeon was amazing and had clearly done this procedure many times so I felt very reassured all the time. I had a further scan and then given a prescription for 5 items, and on the way back to the hotel, the taxi stopped at a pharmacy for me to pick up the meds and then to the hotel where I had a telephone conversation with Honor who advised how to take the meds. 3 days after surgery I was very swollen and I had some serious bruising but pain wise I had nothing more than a little bit of dental ache which you get from having 1 tooth out, it amazed me. 10am on the 5.3.24 I was picked up and taken to to clinic for a check up and was told everything looked well and the healing was already happening which was a great relief, then Honor showed me the last scan where I could see all 12 implants. I was so happy they had managed to achieve this. I now have to allow 5 months minimum for all the bone grafts to take and harden, which for me means no teeth at all, but if this is advised to reduce the failure ratio due to the lack of upper jaw bone then I’m ok with that. I chose A-dent from what clinic because of all the positive reviews and I promise I was not disappointed. The clinic itself was immaculate. The floor was so clean you could eat off it, all the equipment was sterile and clean, it was brilliant and the staff there were so polite and guided you with everything, but Honor, well he is just a diamond guy and will do anything and everything to support, guide and reassure you through everything. You also get a “implant passport” which gives all the information on what type of implant you have and where it is placed and all covered by a lifetime guarantee. I now know that if I need any treatment in the future A-dent is where I will be going and I think my children will too. Absolutely first class!

I can't say enough good about the care I received, first of all, I showed up with zero previous contact early one morning for a complete set of new dentures, and left a few hours before they closed with a perfect set. The staff took great care to do an excellent job, the best I've ever had. The dentist knew exactly what to do, and took pride in his work, also the gentleman who did the actual fabrication of the end product. I'm so glad I went there as it saved me $2K on a complete set in the U.S. with awesome end results. Parking near the Border was cheap and a long walk to the crossing, closest parking there is though. Pay them a visit and enjoy the fine results. Given a 2 year guarantee against breakage too. I imagine you'll be more organised than I by making an appointment beforehand. The gentleman Hector made every accommodation to make my time a breeze.

I just finished my treatment at Dr. Urzola's office. I can genuinely share that Dr Urzola and his entire staff did an amazing job! When I first arrived at Dr Urzola's office five months ago, my mouth was full of deteriorated teeth. I had bad breath (due to the underlying infection that was going on in my mouth). I was very concerned that this chronic dental infection could potentially affect my heart and knew that time was of the essence to find a solution to my serious dental problem. Having spent much time in Costa Rica, I was familiar with the best dental implant clinics in the country. I chose Dr Urzola as my first option due to a strong recommendation from a close friend who lives and works in Costa Rica. When I first arrived in Dr Urzola's office, I found the facility impeccably clean and filled with the latest modern dental equipment. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised that both Dr Urzola and his staff are completely fluent in English. I decided right there and then to undergo a full evaluation and assessment. Based on the panoramic digital radiographic study, it was clear that there was one part of my jaw that where the bone was not as thick as the rest. I was concerned as to whether or not I was going to need a bone graft before I could be a good candidate for dental implants. Based on Dr Urzola's professional opinion, he was able to adapt to my special circumstance via a surgical workaround which he performed. Thanks to Dr Urzola's expertise, I did not have to have additional bone grafted into my jaw! Thankfully, I was a candidate for full upper and lower implants. They made me an acceptable proposal, which was a good value; far more reasonable than the same service up in the States and very competitive within Costa Rica. I proceeded with the removal and replacement of all of my teeth. The removal of my old teeth and preparation for my temporary provisional teeth was done on the first visit. I had my provisional teeth within a few days of the removal of my deteriorated teeth. All my friends said that I immediately looked terrific and many years younger. I had my permanent beautiful precision-crafted teeth within five months of my initial visit. They are absolutely gorgeous and, best of all, my brand new "pearly whites" gave me back my radiant smile! The level of personal and professional care from Dr Urzola and his staff was solid six-star! If you are considering having implants, I know that there are many options as to where to choose. I have been a medical professional for over forty years. As such, I have high standards. I know excellent and competent service when I see and experience it for myself. I give Dr Urzola and his staff my highest recommendation and appreciation for their services!!

The treatment was amazing I really loved the results on my teeth they were broken and on an incline before but after they made them straight and fixed I am so happy with the results as they have fixed my smile also. the staff was so helpful and spoke English so there was no miscommunication and they made my teeth just as I had asked.
