Kee Dental Care

Donna has worked in dentistry since 1989 and qualified in 1991. Donna has spent 10 years in general dentistry and orthodontics. Donna is our Head Implant nurse and ensures that all our implant patients receive the highest quality treatment and care. She is also a Treatment Coordinator whose responsibility is to ensure a comfortable ans successful patient journey and to keep the referring dental professional updated. She assists in general dentistry, oral surgery and more complex procedures and she ensures that all our implant patients receive the highest quality treatment and care. She is fascinated by the implant procedures and it gives her a great sense of satisfaction when achieving a high success rate and when the practice receives positive results and comments from all the patients treated. She has undertaken her Implant training at the Devon Dental Centre of Excellence. Donna is also the lead nurse responsible for decontamination procedures and standards at our Glanmor practice.

Nicola Clegg has worked as a dental nurse and receptionist since 1989 and she has worked at Kee Dental Care for over 10 years having completed her nursing qualifications in 1994. She achieved a Distinction in the Dental Radiography in 2003. Nicola’s role is principally the Lead practice coordinator but she also assists with the dentists in the surgery to provide excellent care and treatment. She also assists both Darren Owakee and Barry Holmes during Implant procedures. She is experienced in Sedation.

Darren leads the team at Kee Dental Care having been the Principal Dentist for more than 10 years and has a special interest in restorative, cosmetic and Implant dentistry. After qualifying from Leeds in 1992, Darren gained extensive experience within the NHS hospital service working in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery units in South Wales. Darren has since gained prestigious qualifications having a Fellowship in Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and has been admitted by the General Dental Council to the Specialist List in Oral Surgery.
