Dentures  
Dentures are a solution of last resort. Many people assume that they will require dentures as they age, but losing teeth is not a normal part of the aging process. If you care for your teeth well and guard against periodontal disease you should be able to keep your teeth for a lifetime. Saving even a few natural teeth is better than losing them all. Natural teeth or even portions of natural teeth (roots) can help you retain bone in your jaw and can act as stable supports for bridges, overdentures or removable partial dentures. Your dentist will try to save as many as possible of your natural teeth. If thats not possible, you may have to consider a complete denture or an implant-supported denture. The good news is that dentures arent what they used to be. With newer materials and improved technology, dentists can fashion dentures that fit comfortably, appear natural and help you stay healthier. Denture problems, such as clicking, slipping, gum irritation, staining and odor are signs your dentures arent fitting properly and may need to be adjusted, relined or remade. Although dentures may look like your natural teeth, they cannot work like them. Like artificial limbs, dentures cannot truly replace their natural counterparts. You will have to learn how to use your dentures, which can take several months. Simple actions like speaking and eating may feel different, and you may have to learn to make adjustment
Flexible Partial Dentures  
Removable partial dentures are composed of a metal framework with plastic teeth and gum areas. The framework includes metal clasps or other attachments, which hold the dentures in place. However, partial dentures are removed easily for cleaning. Fixed partial dentures, which most people call bridges, are cemented in place and better simulate natural teeth.

Dental Crowns and two fillings I got a crown done and two fillings yesterday morning. Needless to say I was not looking forward to it as I am a very nervous patient. However, I have to say the dentist and dental nurse put me at ease from the first moment and were very gentle throughout the procedure. I was impressed with how quickly they could make a crown and fit it. I was done and dusted in 1.15mins! Thanks to all the staff at Eyre Sq Dental. I also have to mention I recieved a call from Dr. Eoin Fleetwood yesterday evening to check how I was feeling- now that's knowing your customer! Thanks to all. Maire

Antibiotic for gum infection and scheduled an appointment for filings and a scaling next week. Very fast appointment and cheap too which is always a bonus these days. Looking forward to having a nice clean smile again So far so good. Both dentist and dental nurse were very welcoming and friendly. Practice looked clean and up to date with lots if different reading materials available while you wait. Although I wasn't waiting long at all. Over all lovely dentist

Had treatment with Patrick O'Connor and Caroline. Put me at ease as soon I walked into the room. Very good at explaining everything and even go as far as walking you to the door after a procedure. Very professional Staff. As soon as I walked into the clinic for my 1st ever appointment was met by Tanya. A lovely friendly personality that straight way put me at ease and always rings few times in advance let me know bout my next appointment. I could not praise this dentist practice enough. Patrick O'Connor and all the team are absolute brilliant at their work.

Check up, xray & orthodontic molds Aoife is a fantastic dentist. She is friendly, polite, understanding, empathetic & very professional. I would highly recommend her especially if you are nervous or hesitant about visiting the dentist. She explains treatment plans very well and always ensures you are comfortable and ready for any treatment you have to undergo. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Splint, root canal, crowns all because I grind my teeth and also suffer from debilitating migraine, that along with a huge fear of dentists - due to this fear it took time for me to become comfortable with Conor. He persevered and now due to my treatment my migraines are much improved. The splint protects my teeth and finally I have teeth that I am comfortable with. I must mention Alex - Conor's nurse is very professional and friendly. A work colleague's recommendation was the best advise I ever took. Pristine and relaxing waiting room. Very friendly and approachable team at the front desk.

I was put at ease immediately by Ursula and given temporary treatment on a broken tooth. I have another appointment for root canal work when I return from my holiday. I was given a quote, so can't really comment on that until after 10th September.

I have recommended this clinic to all my friends. It is very good value for the service you get here. I have always been reluctant to book dentist appointments but Ivory Dental and the staff there have changed that and I have been consistently delighted with the work done on my teeth. Excellent practice in a beautiful clinic. I would highly recommend Ivory Dental for a stellar service for your teeth! Dr. Zammit and her staff have been nothing but warm, welcoming, and professional, and I have always felt I am in very safe hands when getting my treatment done.
