Preventive dentistry and the long term dental and oral health of patients is the main focus of the team at this clinic located at the City Walk in Canberra. Ena grew up in Canberra and came to Modern Dentistry after graduating with honours from Sydney University in 2002. Having now been with the practice for over ten years, Ena has had a major input into the culture and treatment philosophy of which we are all so proud. Her aim has always been to deliver her clinical dentistry with optimal comfort and care.
Ena is happy to offer most aspects of dentistry and is relaxed about referring to local specialists when the need arises. Ena has been exposed to a wide range of dentistry which has contributed greatly to her level of experience.
Deborah was born and raised in Canberra. She moved to Adelaide where she completed a Bachelor in Dental Surgery. Deborah previously worked in Sydney and has now settled back in her home city so that she can spend more time with her family.
Deborah joined the Modern Dentistry team in May 2010. Deborah enjoys practising all aspects of dentistry and loves working with kids! She is committed to providing high quality dental care which is tailored to each individual patient. Her focus is on preventive dental care and aims to work together with each patient to achieve their dental goals and establish excellent oral health.
Deborah has served on the ACT Dental Group Committee since 2011 which organises continuing education events for dentists and dental specialists in the ACT. She currently holds the position of secretary on the committee.
Shaun joined Modern Dentistry early in 2008 after practising in Newcastle for 2 years. Born in Malaysia, Shaun graduated from Adelaide University, which has a reputation for minimal intervention dentistry. His approach to treatment planning is, consequently, both conservative and thorough.
Having regularly attended postgraduate workshop courses and sought mentoring from senior dentists, Shaun is now both confident and competent in all facets of dentistry. He has an ongoing interest in cosmetic dentistry and his practice is amalgam-free.
