If you are having surgery, Brenda is the one to call! Brenda not only schedules all hospitaland office anesthesia surgeries, but she helps to walk patients through the entire surgery process. After a patient meets with the doctor, she will complete a quote for the surgery if it is a cosmetic surgery or will begin the prior authorization paperwork if it is an insurance surgery. After the surgery is scheduled, she sends out all surgery packets and answers any questions from patients that may come up. She also coordinates the surgery with the hospitals, pre-admission testing offices and any collaborating surgeons.

Biography:
Dr. Patricia A. Fox, plastic surgeon has practiced plastic and reconstructive surgery in the area for 30 years. She is a graduate of SUNY-Downstate medical school and she completed here surgical and plastic surgical training in Washington, DC at the Georgetown University Hospitals. Her surgical interests include facial cosmetic surgery and body contouring, including post weight loss procedures. She has a special interest in Breast Surgery including both cosmetic and post mastectomy reconstructions. Dr. Fox has maintained her interest in cleft lip and palate reconstruction throughout her career. Presently she is co-director of the Ellis Medicine Cleft Palate Clinic. In addition to her local work in cleft care, since 1995 she has made more than 15 visits to the Dominican Republic (Solid Rock Missions) caring for children in the remote area of San Juan de la Maguana. In 2005, she was choosen as the lead plastic surgeon on a medical mission to China with Chinese Children's Charities to care for Tibetan orphans with clefts. In the last 5 years she has focused her attention on those in need in remote areas of Mexico. She, together with several local surgeons and associates, have formed a charitable entity- S.U.N. (Surgeons for Underserved Nations) to provide care and surgical education to underserved locations.

Victor A. Schingo, Jr. has been practicing plastic Surgery in the Capital District since the summer of 2000. He is a graduate of New York Medical College. While there, he was awarded Membership in the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society and received the New York Medical College Trustee Scholarship for academic excellence. Dr. Schingo's interest in Plastic Surgery was initially fostered during his clinical rotations in medical school. Also while at medical school, Dr. Schingo met his future wife who is a native of the Capital District. After completing medical school in 1988, Dr. Schingo completed a five year general surgery residency at the University of Rochester and ultimately went on to complete his Plastic Surgery training at the prestigious University of California San Francisco (UCSF).
