He completed his study at the University of New South Wales and after graduation spent many years working as a GP in a busy practice that was originally started by his father. 15 years ago he founded the Novocastrian Skin Cancer Clinic, which specialises in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment.

He grew up in country NSW before completing his medical degree at Sydney University. After graduation he spent more than a decade running his own GP practice, before spending the last 15 years focusing on skin cancer management at the Novocastrian Skin Cancer clinic.
