Being a guy and slightly nervous of this type of procedure. I had a fabulous experience on my first visit to an aesthetic clinic. Dr David Taylor is an absolute gem and puts you at ease within moments of arriving. The procedure I had was totally painless and the whole session was just a joy. I will certainly be returning to Northwest aesthetics in the very near future.

Maria Scornavacca, Clinical Supervisor did my treatments. I did not find a speck of dust on all the huge equipment in Maria's treatment room. She used a new face mask both times, was so professional with sanitation, generous with her time and absolutely precise with getting at my numerous skin tags. Maria is par excellence! Minimum treatment charge is C$50 and you can get approx. 5 skin tags burned for that cost. Pain with burning is the same as freezing used by doctors. However, doctors are not trained in cosmetology, they do not have the precise equipment and lighting and they invariably permanently burn surrounding skin (my own experience). Never get a doctor to do this! The heated pen used at medical clinics such as this one needs the tips frequently replaced from stripping due to heat. So you are not only paying for the Clinician's training costs, their time, sanitation, but maintenance of equipment and clinical surroundings too. A lovely bunch of women at this clinic, bubbly and genuinely friendly. Maria is a reserved personality, extremely professional and generous with her time. Most clinics are way too concerned with their time and money and I am not comfortable with that. Maria Scornavacca, Clinical Supervisor, is par excellence!

Before going in for my HIFU treatment I did some reading about the procedure, particularly about the side effects. One that had me a bit worried was being blotchy and red as I do have sensitive skin. However, Flavio was so gentle that I didn’t experience any redness after the treatment or pain during the procedure. Their staff is so friendly from the minute you call them to book an appointment to them performing the procedure. They update you with every step of the process so that you are aware of what they are doing to your face. I had spider veins from using steroids on my skin. A lot around my nose and on my cheeks. I hated them for years. Great. No salespeople to try to talk me into something. The doctor was really nice, smart and very honest because they told me all the risks. I went to two other clinics and they said I would be absolutely perfect, but I found it hard to believe them. Dr. Thao said I may have some blister or mild skin redness from treatment and that spider veins may not go away entirely depending on size and depth. They had a good laser from Israel- told me it was US FDA (I checked to confirm) before I went back.) Results are great- no more spider veins. I had redness for half a day, but no blister. I think I look handsome now.

Very impressed from the moment I walked in. I wanted a decent sized skin-tag/wart removed from my back. Dr Ash talked me through everything, gave me the option of postponing if I needed time to think it over, so no pressure to make a quick decision. I was happy to continue. After reading through the necessary info and signing the consent form all went ahead. I was given a local anaesthetic, and removal was completely painless.I was given instructions on aftercare, and told to contact Dr Ash if I had any concerns or problems. My procedure was over a week ago and I'm very happy with the result. Would highly recommend, and will return in the future.

I have had a few appointments now with the clinic to have my nails done. The staff are really lovely and so friendly. Always feel very welcome and enjoy my experience. Fab job too. I would def recommend a visit.
