These signals will return to normal function as the treatment wears off. ​Antiwrinkle injections are classed as a prescription only medication, this means that you must be seen by a medical practitioner that holds a prescribing qualification. This can be an independent nurse prescriber, doctor, or dentist. Any other practitioners must have a prescribing professional present to ensure the suitability of the medication for the patient. ​ In the skin clinic we only use premium brands that are licenced for the UK. In all, there are 3 brands available that we believe to be suitable for our patients, with the clinical evidence of efficacy and safety. However, some patients maybe more suited to another brand.
