It was a wonderful experience for us with the whole medical team led by Professor Ali, Nurse Sude, translator Mohammed, Ali Musthapa and nurses at Ward 3. Hey all, I came to Novemed from London and had my Gastric sleeve surgery on the 7th of June 2022. I would recommend Novemed to you all. The staff are extremely friendly and very attentive. They are all well-informed about the different stages of the surgery and will be at your bec and call whenever you need them. My surgery went really well and the after care is amazing. If you are looking to get your surgery done in Turkey, I would recommend Novemed, based on my own personal experience!

From landing at the airport in Istanbul, I was collected and taken to the hotel. All in first-class service. The next morning went to the clinic, where I was weighed and given a full health check, advised what I could expect to lose, and was then taken to the hospital for the procedure. As I was having a hernia repair as well as the sleeve, I was taken first and the whole procedure lasted about 2 hours. I was up walking about on the ward by 4pm. The only problem I had was with the nursing staff in the evening time when the translators left for the day as their English was minimal, might be an idea to have someone there at night, but we got by. The discharge took place on Saturday morning at 10 am but was only informed at 09.15, so that was a rush. Transfer from hospital back to hotel where we had a meeting with nutritionist who explained the diet for first 4 weeks and basically what we could eat and not eat. Transfer to the airport on Sunday morning and my trip was done. Thankfully up to now I'm down 27lbs in 7 weeks and am extremely grateful to everyone concerned in my treatment and for aftercare. Would recommend highly.

I had my mini gastric bypass in April but unfortunately had some complications. The many many pre-op assessments didn't show anything was wrong. The surgeons saved my life due to their knowledge and experience. This hospital is the most amazing place. It is spotlessly clean with well-trained staff. The nurses attended me every time I needed and they couldn't do enough to ensure I was comfortable. The surgeons came to see me every day and check my health and encourage me when I was down. My husband was with me and he was fed 3 meals a day without fail and he had a comfortable bed beside me. I cannot recommend this hospital enough. I can assure you will get the best treatment from all the staff from surgeons to auxiliary staff. I will definitely be choosing this hospital for skin surgery.

Highly recommend. I had a gastric ballon six months ago. I lost 20 kg with the support and great advices from Dietitian Nur. Dr Kaplan is a very good doctor with huge experience and always want the best option for patient. It was a good experience. Also good value for money.
