Cathy received her Bachelor and Master degrees both in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, which is unbiasedly regarded as the best traditional Chinese medicine university in China. She has over ten years of clinical experience including three and a half years practicing at the Hospital 301, one of the most prestigious hospitals in her home country.Cultivated at a world-class medical university that not only teaches Eastern and Western medicine but also medical moral, and having been working with national renowned medicine doctors at the Hospital 301, Cathy learned more than medical knowledge and clinical techniques, and what benefit her most are the caring attitude to all patients as well as the way to be a better doctor.
Cathy is an expert in acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine, and is also knowledgeable in western medicine. She has extensive experience in treating Pain, Women’s & Men’s Health, Infertility, Loss Weight, Quit Smoking, Facial Rejuvenation, Cancer Support therapies, Stress, Insomnia, Migraine, Allergies, Arthritis, Sports injuries, and Fibromyalgia, etc. In addition, Cathy has been doing research on Oncology and Radiation Pneumonia, and has published four papers in some highly regarded traditional Chinese medicine journals.
Since 2010, Cathy has been practicing in Kitchener Waterloo area, and has rapidly gained enormous reputation because of her profound accomplishments on Chinese medicine, highly effective therapies to most patients, as well as her caring attitude and nice personality. Her fame has attracted and benefited a large number of patients who live in Kitchener Waterloo Region and even those from Toronto and Windsor areas. For advocating traditional Chinese medicine, Cathy gives non-profit public lectures and provides free medical care services aperiodically.
